ok maybe i should clear things up a bit, I know most of you know the story, but this one is for the haters out there...... back in November I had Joined Who Then Now....3 months later it was time to be voted in..... or voted out. I Went to all the meetings, events, parties...... well I got voted out because I didnt have a body Kit, or bags. I had made alot of friends, and had a great time in Who Then Now. But because I didnt have a low enough drop.....rules are rules.

I grew up in the Domestic Scene. I had a 91 Mustang GT and I belonged to SSOA (Mustang Car Club). Switching over to the Import Family i noticed that the scene was COMPLETELY different than the domestic side.....rice this.... rice that.... Everyone has their own opinions.

Well, I came up with an idea for a car club that would bring people together that shared commin interest.... Our Cars. Regardless if you have a Show car, Drag Car, Drift car, Daily Driven Car, or Project car, as long as its clean and modified. But the main criteria was that u must be friendly, easy to get along with, and just to have fun.

Alot of people think that I created a car club because i want to be known, or i have no friends, or whatever else people wanna say.... But to be honest, These ARE my friends, and this IS my life. I've prob met alot of the people that have been involved in the drama the past couple of weeks.... and never even knew it. Im sure alot of you people are really nice behind the screen, so why not act like it???

QD, ur a jackass online lol but ur accually a cool guy in person, real nice! but i dont hold it against you because we all know that.

I want everyone to know that Equal Minds isn't trying to get attention, most of us dont even leave our forum. We are a real car club, and we are real people.... Just like everyone else

QD remember when i first joined IA... i made the post in the new clubs section about StreetVerve, you were the first person to respond to my first post.... and you basicly said, Good luck! It takes alot of hard work and effort! Your the first person to welcome every noob in the clock in section.... man u a cool guy, but yet I can see why many people might not like you.... thats just because they dont know you

i don't really know what most other people think but i'll speak for myself and hopefully we can have a civilized conversation, this is pretty much bits and piece of conversations i've had with a couple of your own memeber, most of what i say is stuff that at least 4 out of 5 of them agreed on: read carefully, i'm not trying to be an ass but if you need to go look up in the words and phrases seem(s), came across, etc. just remember that i am telling you how i see things, these are my opinions and while opinions can be wrong they cannot be lies...

i don't have a problem with the the majority of the people in your "club", but to me its just not what a car club should really be. to me a car club isn't just a group of people on a website who mostly have modded cars, have their own forum, attend meetings, pay dues and hang out and go to events. sure there are car clubs out there that fit that description but that doesn't make anything that fits that description a car club. like i've said before, the sky may be blue but that doesn't mean that everything that is blue is the sky. i think what you are trying to do could be a good thing but i think that the whole way you went about it was totally wrong. to me, it came across as you trying to reinvent IA.com. when the idea first came up, you seemed to want a group of people who all liked cars and could hang out; no rules and anyone and everyone could "join"...sounds familiar, its called importatlanta.com, nearly 5 years and running fine until recently when a select few, who now seemingly all seem to share the same avatar, showed up.

you came across to me as an ego freak who wanted a quick way to be the next big thing in the scene without putting any true hard work in. you pissed me off but i just let it go. leader issues aside, it seemed like a decent idea that could overall improve the scene. now the problem i have is where the dues and attitudes come in. i really don't see why someone should have to pay to participate in the scene, i'm sure IA cost more than your website and you don't see paul, julio, or pablo standing around asking for money each month (and yes they give out stickers to anyone who askes...even the big stack they gave you, and yes IA sets up events and lets people pay for the events they want to go to, unless they are free like most of them). if what you are saying is true and these people are really just your friends then just really let them be your friends, but i don't think its right to throw the label "car club" on your group of friends and use IA as a medium to get your social gatherings going. i know its hard for anyone to say this right now without being a hypocrit but i think you are giving the scene a bad name by what you are doing.

sure, you got a lot of new people on here that like cars and have fun hanging out but it seems that half of them are being forced into your ideal "equal minds" mold and the others just seem not to know any better. if equal minds is just a big group of frinds then who the fuck is to say that people who don't come up with the money can't be your friends????? i understand it takes money to do shit but i think you reinvented the wheel and made a square, yeah it rotates and all but its making things a lot rougher than they should be. and don't say that none of the haters met you because i met you face to face a couple of times, i don't "hate" you but yeah, i don't like your "club". it may have sounded like a good idea but i think the overall vibe the "club" gave once it started was "we are the new shit, this is going to be the best thing in the scene, we all love cars soooo much, and we are going to do what no one else has done" .but at the same time i think that some of the newer people really have no idea how a car club really works...look back at the old xrated, eci, pi and even allstars stuff.

i'm not trying to be Mr.OG but honestly man, with the track you guys seem to be on right now, single individuals in those clubs have done more for the scene than your "club" will ever do. i've just seen too many clubs come and go that have the started with the mentality of "anyone can join and you don't have to have any body kits or mods". i think the biggest mistake you made chris wasn't in what you may have been trying to do but in the whole way you started the club. you don't see any other new clubs, or even the oldest clubs coming in and saying "fuck you haters, don't be jealous because we've got something good going" and YES, there are ALWAYS people who hate on every club. i think if you want respect as a club you guys just need to shut the fuck up and let your walking do your talking, and no, i'm not trying to say that in some stupid e-thug way...but i think a lot of people on this site and probably even some in your club think that the club (with you being the frontman/spokesperson/founder) came across as way to cocky, especially considering the experience of the club.

i'm sure that there are people on this site that have been around the scene longer than a half of your "club" combined and you coming on here and coming across like you know what to do and how to do it better than them is going to piss some people off. i think if you want to be a club that gets treated with any respect then you guys have a lot more weeding and watering to do before your garden will grow.

i'm sure half of that didn't make sense and i'm not going back to edit it until i feel like it.

but I still dont see anywhere, where ST as a whole threatened to break your club up? you guys just assumed that and got all pissed off and attacked everyone who was associated with ST. Then you guys came to the conclusion that we wanted to hold the "scene" back, but again....we never once said that we wanted to hold it back.

And, I have met you, wether you remeber or not....and I am sure you can agree, in your forum and in my PM and the first day ST was formed, I was quite polite to you and your members, but I did not recieve the same courtesy.
