the problem isn't really fences and more border patrol agents. the problem is that state and local governments are not enforcing federal laws already there. it can take years to deport one illegal because they have to pay out of their own pocket to get shipped back to wherever the **** they came from so what happens?they sit in our jails soaking up thousands of dollars in taxes to house clothe and feed them while they sit in jail awaiting deportation

Most of this massive spending could be cured by only allowing citizens and legal aliens access to things like Welfare and other aid-benefit programs. I will never understand why the government feels it's neccessary to extend programs like this to people who are in the country illegally. Just cut them off. It's not cruel, it's Rule of Law. I'm going to do some research and come back and post up what i have found since I can't remember all the numbers. I had to do a research paper on this last year so let me see if i can find some of my sources again.

When federal tax is witheld from an immigrants check do you really think they get that back? They're paying into Social Security, Federal Taxes, Medicare etc. furthermore they bring economic activity to the US economy.. not all immigrants come here and shoot every dime back to Mexico.

Also since they are not subject to minimum wages that tends to keep prices down so realize what you are asking for in getting rid of illegal immigrants expect a nice jump in inflation.

Listen, you are being very narrow minded. I will attribute that to the fact that you're young and haven't seen or done quite as much yet. But you are absolutely wrong in your assumptions.

How many companies have you run? How many employees have you hired? How many times have you even issued a W2? So please, don't sit on your misinformed soap box and try to pass judgement on something you have no concrete proof about.

The reality is that there indeed quite a few illegals that get paid a regular check just like or me. They get deductions taken out too. Problem comes in when they DON'T file tax returns because their SS # is actually bogus. That is a problem. The real problem comes in from those that do get paid in cash which compounds the problem even further. What percentage is which? It's impossible for ANYONE to say since census nor IRS know crap since they're "counting" ghosts and collecting taxes from noone. All the figures are merely guesses. How can you say how many are here, if they won't be counted? How can you say just how much they contribute if they don't pay taxes? It's a double sided coin. You can certainly add up what benefits are being used up, but that's one side of the equation. Irritating, but only one side.

You need to look around a little closer. There are just as many lily white and carbon black losers out there sucking every last red cent out of our economy and not replacing it just like you claim illegals do. What is the difference? You can't choose where you're born or whom you're born to. There are just as many worthless AMERICAN BORN AND BRED leeches if not more than "illegals". A leech is a leech is a leech. What makes a citizen any more deserving of milking our politically correct system than anyone else? Wrong is wrong, right? Why not just try and keep EVERYONE from treating us like suckers? How often do you see Oriental people driving $100k cars, living in $500k houses, yet since their business is a strictly cash intake only make $20k on paper? I can do this all day. The point is that all of you that are so intent on blaming only one part of our society for taking advantage of the system really need to take a closer look around. The "illegals" aren't the only ones suckling from that teet. Recognize that FIRST and want to fix that FIRST, and then you will start making some headway towards a real solutions.
