The baddest bad a$ses don't advertise (other that Terrel Owens and Ali - lol). They don't need to. They just proceed to kick your muthf*ckin as$ in whatever it is that they do well.
The prob with broadcasting when you are a fighter is EXACTLY what Soul is getting at. You literally make people want to shoot you, or pick up a pole and sneak up on you at the playground with your kids and knock the sh1t outta you - b/c if they are lacking ANY level of heart (and a LOT of people don't have heart these days, how quiet the thread got when you posted TBONE is a testament to that) they will not fight a fighter straight up. I've fought in bars JUST b/c they "heard" I was a 2nd degree... I've knocked people out JUST for that reason and felt bad for them afterwards. Why wake up from a senseless concussion just to prove a point?? People don't take a$s whoopings like they did when I was a kid - it's a different day. Your broadcasting has made it where you getting a fair fight from people on this board (not that you need to fight any of 'em) is impossible. THAT fact poses more of a threat to your kids than anything else bc u most likely won't see it coming.
I keep it simple... I'ma 2nd degree --- anything else people wanna know they will have to earn it. To each his own.
