As a avid Nissan Owner and 350z driver. Hearing about the GTR coming to the states was like WOOT!!!

It is with saddened expression that I state, "NISSAN What the FUCK are you doing!!!!"

Ruining a car like the GTR Skyline with ass handed, cumtwisted, spooge laden, wet dream gone wrong, shit like that is a punch in the nutz to all who love the true Skyline. (R34 woot)

What is so fucked up is there are a lot of middle aged, no knowledge cumtwats who will saddly buy this car because they have not a clue about the heritage of the older Skyline cars.

BAH I am already tired of bitching......

    Hey Nissan!! "Fucking Cumtwat Bitches!!"

ok well i can tell ya that they probably isn't going to look like that. the new SCC has pictures of the new one i'll see if i can find one.

^^ changes that have been made.

    1) the front bumper
    2) the rear spoiler
    3) the rear bumper
    4) the rims

as far as SCC suspects there should be a a turbo set up on it but then again it looks like they aren't going to do that and stick with the NA VQ engine. But that bumpers 2 side cut outs would be perfect for 2 side mounts or a sidemount and an oil cooler.

to be honest i dont think anyone really knows wat the skyline is gonna look like. There are so many concepts from complete original to modified G35s. Yea the US skyline is supposed to be the "g35" but i honestly dont believe that, well no, i believe it but its the waterdown version. I beleive nissan is gonna bring out once again another ground pounding R! Not in the shell of the G.

o no, the G shell will remain i think, mildly changed of course but still basically the same thing. but it will have the heart and soul of the R. the car that will strike fear into all its counter parts here in! FEAR THE R baby!

Welll if it has the G shell, it wont have the look. It doesnt have the look of a beast or some killer performance car. Looks like a lil pretty boy that prances around town!

well, just so you know, the G (or skyline in Japan) is a much higher performing vehicle than previous iterations of the skyline and they had GT-Rs based on them. I think the G looks much better and more agressive than previous skylines (non-GT-Rs).

I think you hit the nail on the head, a lot of the pictures are just pure speculation.. a lot of rumors going around about it being twin turbo'd and having 450hp.. then others of it being the 4.5 liter V8 found in the Q45 and M45.

Rumor is also that the new GT-R will have a price tag of about $70k which would be a huge mistake.. $50k would be perfect and if it becomes a reality I'll be one of the first in line.

mannn mix the G's lines with the R34's fascia and you'd have one mean looking ride.. I've always thought the front of the G made it look kind of tame..but everything else looks pretty damn mean.

heard that, i hope its not more than 50, or else i'll have to rob a bank.... sigh. I have a feeling Nissan will stay NA which i personally think is a mistake, there is nothing better than a turbo'd 6! i really don't think it will have the 8 tho. it will put too much weight on the front wheels. just my take on it.

i agree the car looks mean throughout but the front just throws it off, and the plush interior, thats just me, get into a ferrari and it will have a much different feel, not only in quality-lol but in the overall goal. IMO the skyline in its recent reincarnations could have been an even better car. Nissan needs to leave that AWD crap alone and just stick to RWD.

Marta... slap yourself! AWD was one of the things the skyline R series was known for. It was the peak of its day and in some peoples eyes it still is. The ATTESA made everything better.... however as much as i'm an advocate of RWD i would never pass up driving a AWD GTR.

the AWD system they use for the skyline acts as a RWD in most conditions, I think how it works is once the system senses the rear wheels breaking loose the front kicks in but I'm sure someone will correct me. I have seen a GT-R do a rear wheel burn out though

The 911 turbo does that. However, the 911 uses a viscous coupling unit while the Skyline is electronically based (I think).

i believe you are correct sir. and as i was stating which i didn't do a very good job of.... the Attesa system was the best b/c it behaved like a RWD but gave you the confidence of a AWD... so it was the best of both worlds.

I know its off topic but what is your impression of the 911? Since seeing yours I've starting paying a lot more attention to them.. very clean by the way!

Iam in no way sayin the skyline is not a drivers car. But when it comes down to it, for it to be pretty much nissans "exotic" its performance is under the bar. The R34 did a 0-60 run on avg 5sec, and the quarter on avg high 13's and prolly 14s for avg drivers, and i dont believe it even pulled .90 on the skid. The skyline is one of my favorite cars and even with its short comings id still pick one up. But still, it can have all the ground breaking technology etc it wants, but if its not measuring up, it isnt really a showstopper.

i agree... but the beauty of nissans is the added performance when upgraded. with a simple turbo back/ FMIC/ Boost controller/ and intake you're easily in the 400 range. so yeah, i agree its more of a drivers choice and i think that for the basic upgrades and the pricing its one of the best out there. the car is the pinacle of nissans armada but your right it will never match up on the track with its exotic conterparts.

lol I guess you're right considering they are not cheap by any means..I think you are buying more heritage than anything. In all honesty I think its the fact that you cannot easily obtain one that makes the skyline so popular over here, imagine if we couldn't get the M3 or M5 in America.. but when we see one on the road its not that big of a deal.

With that said there is a LOT of potential with the skyline..its just a good base to start with if you're looking to modify.
