you're right i can't explain that part. however all the church's i've gone to the pastors usually drive a newER car b/c it won't break down and will be under warrenty so its more money the church doesn't have to use for other things it could be using. and as for the missionaries if a church doesn't have any then that means that missionaries haven't come and asked for help. Thats the way my church has always worked. my old church had well over 45 mission families we were helping. and my new one has only 4 b/c its within its first 7 months of opening.
as for why do churches need a 5 million dollar building. well if more people continue to pour thru church doors then you have to have a way for them to recieve the message. there are some churches that offer as many as 4 services a day b/c every since one of them is packed out and they have to add more. so what is smarter to do. spend the money that is coming in to help and outreach and let more people hear the word of God or have as many as X,XXX services a day. Churches aren't trying to scam you they are just trying to reach out to the community and reach the people in the streets.
