Is shop experience conversation/bashing allowed?

i dont agree with bashing, but if you went to a shop and they just out right sucked then who cares if they are a sponsor or not, the fact is they suck. and people should be notified of that. and the rules clearly state that anything goes. there was no grey in that statement that julio made

my point exactly sponsors pay for advertising which helps pay to keep the site up so i understand how they are important in that respect. but that just because they are a sponsor does not mean that this site should be a safe haven for them if they **** up. if someone ****s up they should know about. what do you think the bbb is for?

We are the judge of how truthfull the story might be. Regardless, most bashing of shops is one sided an the whole truth is never told.

So do what you want, but it doesnt mean it will be allowed, it depends how the responses go and where the threads direction will go.

We like to protect the sponsors because without them there would be no IA to begin with.

But we also dont turn a blind eye obviously.

if someone had a bad experience, please share, but bandwagoning and bashing is strictly prohibited

You can tell what happened or how true it is usually within the first few posts.

Again, the policy has been in place long before i was a moderator. No shop bashing is allowed.

Posting experiences with FACTS is fine.
