hacking cough advice...
what medicine do you recomend to get rid of a hacking cough...my throat is sore as anything and yesterday i took the store brand of claritin d and it was apparently too late for that to do anything cause i woke up this morning 10 times worse...anyways for those who care i am just lookin for any medicine advice that is sure to work and help clear up my throat

Cough accompanied by too much phlegm (mucus)?
If smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema are an issue speak with your GP.
Other than that, if you have phlegm issues you need an expectorant, so get something with guaifenesin in it. For the cough, any antitussive should work.
If you want a name brand try Mucinex DM which has both of what I just mentioned. It is a bit pricey but worth the money.

wow....nice info...and my aunt told my mom to try that mucinex stuff so i may just get some of that...any suggestions where to find it?
that didn't last very long...the honey's gone my throat hurts and my stomach feels like a bowl of jello from all the tea
Any drugstore or supermarket should carry it, but to be on the safe side try Walgreens or CVS. It will run you close to $20.

I sip lemon tea with honey when I have a sore throat, but I continously sip tea throughout the day. Slamming one cup down won't help too much lol.

get a small ass pot right and put some water in it ... let that shit boil like a mofo
then get a thing of Vicks VAPORUB and get a spoon and put a little in the spoon... and wait like RIGHT ABOVE THE STEAM... drop the spoon in the water (not too much water)
SHIT HITS HARD SO CLOSE YOUR EYES>.. take a DEEP DEEP hit of it like as deep as it goes... and keep on doing the shit... after that u feel 100000x better man try it.... sounds ghetto but it works...
or you could just get a vaporizer, but wheres the fun in that.
