Im not reading all the crap in here, I just read the thread title and I thought Id say something.
I like what they're doing. People complain that nobody listens around here to what most people want, and now that they are getting it, you all complain. Frankly, im tired of seeing you same people day in and day out! (half joking). This site is going to hit a plateau in my opinion if things don't change. It feels too much like high school, and most of us remember how that was. Maybe they are motivated by money, maybe by something else, but we have nothing to lose because we dont pay for a damn thing on here; the sponsors do. Those sponsors are the stakeholders, we're just customers that come in day in and day out to get our "fill" for free. I just hope that they dont just go on a cosmetic fixing spree only. Ive seen a lot of things being said from some of the "senior" team that personally doesnt reflect well on the site either. I hope they take care of that too. Anyways, good luck to the project that the admins are undertaking right now.

All I know is, that I read in the "new" rules, or something. It states something about Postwhoring, not being tolerated? WTF???? That takes me out of my element. lol I have to agree, IA isn't as entertaining as it was a few months back, but I will just have to deal with the cards dealt. Noob bashing rules - eh whatever. I never got bashed as a noob, but then again I generally refrain from making stupid posts.
Swear filter - Yeah, I find it kind of annoying. I don't even swear that much, I just find it hard to read through people's posts that do. I still think it could be done in a much better way (replace swear words with non offensive alternatives as opposed to " **** ")
