does it NOT show up in the "sent items" box?

Cuz I was trying to reach several people this morning about an upcoming event (the Santa Run 100) and sent out several PM's (doing the whole "send up to 5 at once") and checked my sent items box, and none of them show up in there...but I didn't get an error message when sending it...

Is it just not supposed to show up?
