Sorry, hop-a-long Cassidy, but you've forced me to go from mild mannered Clark Kent to really ticked off Superman about to dissect your terrible rebuttal post, bit by silly bit.
First, please work on your English, punctuation, spelling, and grammar skills. This terribly constructed post from you is a prime example of yet another reason why you should probably NOT own a weapon of any kind. You may just hurt YOURSELF.
BTW, noone needs to "be there" to be able to point out your mistake(s).
True sometimes, but you certainly can walk away. You had ample opportunity to do so and CHOSE not to do so. First step in any situation is to TRY and DE-ESCALATE the situation. You didn't do that at all.
Really? How so? Didn't you say you "couldn't tell what he was thinking", yet now suddenly you know what his intentions are? Give me a break. You can't have it both ways.
BTW, it's ACKNOWLEDGE.
How did he threaten you? At which point did you feel YOUR life or the life of someone else was in MORTAL danger? When he told you to close your door or was it when he put his greasy finger on your clean window?
This passage was incredibly hard to decipher, but from what I gather the highlighted part is the only one that really matters. Any questions?
There are many words that could fill those little asterisks, but any way you cut it YOU sir are dead wrong in unholstering your little .380 in the situation listed.
The whole point about being a prudent gun owner is that you don't ASSume anything and react with accordance to the threat.
I will tell you again that if you'd pulled that little thug stunt on someone that was equally prepared......your tombstone would list "lead poisioning" as your reason for being deceased. You or anyone brandishes anything that can be construed as a "weapon" then that automatically allows the person whom you're brandishing to protect themselves accordingly. Pull anything out on me, and you will get two in the chest and one in the head. I'm not alone in this. I know there are plenty of people that would and can do the same.
I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Remember that. Dead men tell no tales. You had a gun and pointed it at me, so I shot you dead on the spot....WHO is gonna say different if you're 6 ft under? Use your head.
You brought it up to try and instigate compassion for doing some incredibly asenine thing like pulling out your gun on some old man. It backfired. Deal with it.
Yeah, because someone telling me to close my doors and touching my window always makes me think he's about to jack my car away from me....

If that's the case, then downtown Atlanta would be littered with bodies from bums and homeless people trying to panhandle in traffic. Maybe next time I'm down there I'll just take one out 15 or 20 of them and be a true American Hero.....
You sir, made a big mistake and luckily got away with it. Just like taking a corner too fast while it's raining and hitting 10.5 on the sphincter meter. You're supposed to LEARN from that mistake and slow down next time. If you hammer it around that corner again and wipe out, who's fault is it? Same issue here. You need to learn two very important things from this: 1. It's only cool in rap videos to pull out a gun for any stupid reason; 2. You may think it was "cool" to pull out your gun for no reason, but next time it may not be so "cool" if you pull it out prematurely on someone that will drop you where you stand.
You don't want to learn? Your problem. I've done what I could to help you. But much like your grammatical and English skills, the rest is up to you.
