seriously though, let the chinese play their little games. My money says that the sub was detected, considered to be a non-threat and let slide as a booster to the chinese ego. (kindof like a "oh yeah... dang, got us that time... shucks....*sniff*... try it again next time when we're at war...")

Now maybe next time when the imminent "throwdown" proceeeds to happen and the chi-comms try to sneak a sub past, we'll blast 'em.
