If the pictures are no longer needed/accessible, why not just take them down. Granted, I think that they could have been a bit more "courteous" with their request. Threatening people when you are not in the right will get you nowhere fast.

I totally agree. If they arent needed anymore just take them down. Its not worth any trouble.
