    Default Bored as all hell...

    So I'm going to rant.

Ever wish that TV or movies could become reality? I mean really, everyday is so f*cking boring that I want to drive my car into a wall at 60mph just to feel something different. I mean, everytime you play a video game, watch a movie, or whatever else, you get this developing world full of action, drama, horror, and everything else.

Where does it all come from? Where the hell is real life drama or excitement? Not the bullsh*t e-drama either, but real events that can alter how you perceive the world and life. If someone were to come to my workplace and start shooting the place up, taking lives and holding hostages for some form of ransom money or something, I would probably orgasm. It's like we're forced to create our own excitement, but everything that is exciting is either safely restrained or against the law. We're trapped in this pointless f*cking existence that nothing more or less that "normal" and it's sad as hell. I hope that on my drive home, a semi f*cking t-bones me and sends me for a spin. It'll hurt like hell and could possibly kill me, but at least it'll be something exciting for a moment.

I still look back and wish that I hadn't got injured in the Army so that I could be out in the desert, living everyday in a life and death situation. It was why I joined in the first place. That's what life should be like. Living with the breath of death on your shoulder, fighting to survive, to be the one standing triumphant in the end or to die in the peak of your existence. Not to sit in an office for a f*cking paycheck every two weeks.

Sorry that my argument comes off unorganized, but despite my scattered presentation, my point is simple. Life is boring. There must be something we as people can do to spice things up.

Please tell me that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Someone else has seriously got to be fed up with living in this mundane state of life.

Sorry about that, but I feel a bit better now.

If you really want a change of life go visit Cali or live there. You never get bored. Seriously you never do. Draw back is it's expensive and dangerous but whatever...you live you life in California more then anywhere else in the USA.

Seriously I should have made my decision to stay there instead of GA but I like changes.

lol, I know right? I mean, I don't hate myself so I'm not going to cut my wrists or anything. Still, I do wish there was some form of excitement going on. Everything exciting always happens elsewhere. Where's the drama, action, and adventure?

I think I was born a few centuries too late. Man, I bet life in medieval times was the sh*t. Laws were simple, you fought for what you had, and you reaped the rewards or suffered the consequences depending the outcome. Now, all we get is political bullsh*t. There's nothing here for the average man anymore. We look back on ancient times and say, "Wow, was an exciting and romantic era!" People will look back on us in the history books and say, "Wow, what a depressing era that was."

    I'm with you 100%.

I recently tried something different for a while. Working at a haunted house. It was probably the funnest thing I've done in a LOOONG TIME.

New awesome girlfriend is exciting too.

Or better yet every weekend would be something different. Like going camping either at the beach, mountain, desert, or lake. Going to Baja and eat some tacos while dirt biking or going to a las vegas and gamble your life away. Seriously every weekend was freaking fun.

Simple change? No. Scaring the living hell out of people to the point of crying, hyperventilating, wanting to leave, and crawling into the fetal position is amazing.

Romance? Check my latest myspizzle blog. You'll see where I'm coming from.

Sell all your stuff and move to Japan. buy some land out in the country, and build a farm. Work your ass off, and then you can kill bandits that try to come and take your rice. Can even keep a little hidden room with weapons of all sorts, and cool ninja suits. If you ever get this going lmk, i'll stop buy to do some shopping in that room. And by shopping I mean taking **** I like and leaving.

Use this boredom as time to study? If I did that, I probably would have Japanese, Mandarin/Cantonese Chinese, and a little Korean down fluently.

I understand how you feel, but you also have to realize that happiness is an extreme just as depression is. Only people happy all the time are the people on drugs. Excitement? If you're in a life and death struggle constantly, eventually even that becomes mundane. We as people need the highs and lows, but the secret to life is complacency.

That's a great point, but at this point in life I feel like I'm in this extemeity of depression. Not that I'm sad all the time, just tired of the way things are going. Sure, everything grows weary after time, but once you get tired of something else, you just have to find a new excitement.

ROFL You know, after looking looking at this thread and others that I've started, I wonder if this is how serial killers and the such get their start. Wouldn't that be some sh*t if I just started f*cking up people out of boredom?

    Lol I can.

But yea....I understand how you feel, I have definitely been there. I just started putting myself in situations where I was occupied with the people around me, or rushing to do something. The closest I can get to living on the edge right now.....I'm going to see about this chick flat ironing my hair. Why? Because I'm ****ing bored, she's hot, she wants to play in my hair, and I wanna see what it'd look like. If its cool I'll rock it with a hat, if not, I'll just wash my hair and be done with it. Bwuahaha....

Nate, try paintball or some sort of sword fighting such as fencing. It might be exciting and will keep you busy.

There has to be something to keep you interested that is perfectly legal. If you can't find anything to do that is within the confines of the law, break a few laws.

Corporations FTL, the company I work for is private owned and there is quite literally nothing to do.

No, even though my yearning for excitement and freedom are intense, I'd still rather do things in a legal fashion. I don't like the restrictions that the world puts upon, but I will respect and abide by them...to an extent.
