Food for thought. If you have a church in a rural town and you bring in 2k a month which is a small percentage of whats given at your parish (lets say 10% for the pastor) for the offering to pay for lights and air conditioning and the pastors family then you are not shady.

If you take the same percentage (10%) as your church grows and grows and grows and pretty soon you have millions of dollars using the same formula BUT NOT taking more from your patrons, whats wrong with that?

I'm not saying they are into something they shouldnt be, I dont know all of their business I'm just saying you dont know what they did to make that church what it is. They have 5k + people in their congregations so I think if they are being straight with what their fair cut is I dont see what the big deal is about. They should be paid well.
