Other than misspelling is there anything else that should be noted? I would have done it differently but I don't see how it's that big of a deal. Certainly not big enough of a deal to take pictures, upload, and post on a message-board....

It's a failure to understand proper grammar. The spelling of the word (the wrong word) is correct.
