I have actually been twice and I must say that it sucked more than anything. The treatment blows, if you aren't hungry when it's time to eat you don't eat until the next time they feed you. If you are tired during the day, sucks you can't sleep. They tell you when to eat, when to sleep. It's not a place to be, I know this from experience. The way that I was treated in there it makes you think twice about doing anything. I didn't have tv's or anything either there, we had phones but they were shut off during certain times of the day and shut off all night. You have people watching your every single move, when you shit when you shower when you pee. I was only there for a combined about 48 hours for both times, and lemme tell ya I will not go back ever.Originally Posted by JITB

Also when you first get there they put you in what is known as "intake". Basically the holding cell where you wait to go to population where everyone else is. It is a tiny room with about 10 people and one toilet, which is dirty and no toilet paper. I was in Cobb County Jail too. Not somewhere downtown. So anyone that has never been doesn't know what it's like. It's not the way that it's portrayed on TV and in movies like everyone else that has been was saying.
