    WalMart is having a Secret Santa Sale (early Black Friday) today and every other Friday until Christmas.

    Today they have a Sanyo 50" Plasma (1366 x 768p) for $998 (normally $1298)

    I just snagged a Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD player for $98 (normally $198)

    i know how you feel bro, in july i bought a 46in LCD samsung for $1400 720P and now they got 1080Ps for $1700

    I didn't think it would but hell, i was curious to see what it would do! I will only know by comparing yesterday's with today's and comparing today's with tomorrows (DowJones). Of course with the word out and companies doing more to get spending up for today it would've been effected. but whatever lol! The person who started this up got his idea off of a statistic so I was weary (sp) of its final outcome but all it really showed if anything was unity.

    traffic in my store was the same as always, and i went to zaxby's for lunch, and there was just as long of a line as usual there too.

    lol i got the A2 today too, but with my employee discount at work i ended up getting an open item one for $80, plus 2 free HD DVD's and 5 more free HD DVD's by mail. EPIC WIN.

    Do you work at Best Buy by any chance? I had heard they were giving 2 movies away in-store and then the five by mail. However the Best Buy near my house had sold out of A2s, so I got one at Wal Mart (didnt come with in- store movies though). I got to send off for my 5 free movies still.
