    Default New Water Info....

    So... on ABC Nightly News they just were saying that we have 8 months of water left not the 3 they have been saying.

    So I was right, they try and put us into a panic and make it sound worse than what it is so they can tell us not to use any water.

    I know the water situation is bad, anyone can see that but why say 3 months when in fact there is 8 months if we had NO RAIN

    They say we have like 280 days of water, thats what the Army Core said today after testing over the weekend and that the water is in good drinking shape right now.

    But yeah they should have been prepared for this and started building other lakes, etc for us to use.

    One Idea they were talking about was building a pipe line that taps into another states water

    I cant even remember the last time I washed my car. It rained pretty consistently up until a month ago here in barnesville where i go to school during the week so the car stayed relatively clean

    NO ****. It is our own damn fault. Lake Lanier is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers, they can do whatever they want with it. We should have built our own decades ago.

    What sucks is the ban will still be in effect and most likley get tighter still what REALLY SUCKS did you all know that Golf Courses are exempt and can keep thier grass nice and green

    They were testing the water from the so called "dead pool" which was before thought not to be drinkable. Also they still need special equipment to pump from that area if I'm not mistaken.
