The conveyor could be going 75mph and the plane 25mph and it would still take off, the only differance is the wheels of the plane would be spinning at 100mph

So obviously, if the plane moves faster than the conveyor belt, it will move forward, get lift, and fly.

Where is the whole "matching speeds" thing that they agreed to do? They should have given both the plane and the belt 25mph ground speed, which would make the plane stay still, as a person would on a treadmill. This would entail cutting back on the throttle as soon as the plane started to move forward, but that is what they said they were going to do...match speeds.
if the plane had a speed of 50 mph in relation to the belt, doesnt that mean its moving at an actual speed of 25 mph in one direction and the conveyor(tarp) at a speed of 25 in the other, that looks like matching speeds to me

    lol at self-ownage

Who says it's supposed to remain stationary?

The conveyor and planes speeds were match! If the plane isn't going anywhere then how fast is the conveyor belt moving? 0mph!! ZERO MPH!

That's what you THOUGHT because when you hear "treadmill" or "conveyor" you automatically assume or think stationary in your head. Most people can only relate to cars or people and can't grasp the idea of a planes power not going to it's wheels.
