    Default How to get a new title??

    Looking for info or experience with this. Looking at a car with a missing title what has to happen for me to get a new one? Already searched the ga dmv website and there wasnt any info.

    you have file for a lost title. it will go thru the court system and will have it ready in about a month. i've been thru it.

    well i just did one recently for a car and the judge said althought i had a title bonded to the car that meant the original title is out there and if someone came up with it could get the car back i was like WTF ??

    wat if you bought the car and they didnt have it does the same rule apply cuz my friend has a civic wit that issue

    unless the vehicle is older than 1986 then u have to have a title and if one isnt present then u have to get one bonded unless the car was recent registered to the owner then they can apply for a new one with out bonding but i learned not to mess with cars with no titles.

    if you know who is on the title (they can) you can get a new one. if you dont good ****ing luck it is never going to happen.

    i believe it is 85 and older can be sold and registered on a bill of sale.
    -IA MGMT is inappropriate.
