I don't see what he did was wrong? If he was to give you any trouble, you wouldn't be here typing this.
And what's wrong if he referred to you as black? Will it be racist if he referred to someone else as white, or myself as Asian? Isn't that the correct term if you don't know somebody's name? It's because you already feel inferior and had negative thought that clouded your vision.
If I was to live in the neighborhood, I'd love to have cops driving around and check on it like that for me. The fact that he apologized to you mean that he was just doing his job.
and mark, any officer could handle any situation differently, he took the aggressive approach, which is safer for him, wheni lived in palm beach i passed out OUTSIDE IN THE PARKING LOT OF MY MOMS CONDOS and the cops banged on my window asked me to show id put my hands out the window. everytime i was pu lled over in FL i was asked to step out and i was searched, and im WHITE, cops in FL are just ****, and they don't trust teenage/20 something males. and for good reason, there's tons of ****ing stupid ones down there.

C) if I was assuming that you were a burglar in general, I would err on the side of caution and use a loudspeaker instead of coming up and risking being shot, not matter what color ( this is just me speaking personally )
D) That could very well be true, but that is hard to know as a police officer until you had to show him your ID etc
Unfortunately, you did have to prove yourself and that you were not in the wrong, but I'm sure you know that it could have been much worse ( racist wise ) - some things should just be taken with a pinch of salt when there is little to it
