The lake is low enough on the North end now that some of the roads they covered have resurfaced. The main town is still over 100 feet under water though. The dam loses water if we get to 36' down I think because of a hump that runs in front of it. Also I think there are only a couple ramps on the entire lake that are still open. A lot of them are actually all the way out of the water.

On a lighter note. We moved our dock out so far I found my dad's cell phone that he lost in the lake last year next to the gangway.

We don't have snow capped mountains between us and the oceans. So the answer to the drought is......... build snow capped mountains between Atlanta and the Georgia coast. Why hasn't anyone though of it before?

While riding to the mountains I drove across Buford Dam and took a couple of pics. It looked pretty down but still plenty of boats running around...

And while coming down GA60 towards Gainsville. Before I crossed the bridge I saw a cove area that was completely dry.

I guess if you are on the south side of the lake You'll be okay as long as you can move your dock and aren't on the end of the cove. Those up north are getting donkey punched.

thats right near the damn where water is gona be built u.. also the govner or bama is a fag and says that georgia has plenty of water and is just being stingy and should keep giving them more water even tho they have more than enough and do not have any type of watering bans
You know better; next time will be a ban.
