I've heard of Motorcycle riders using a Redneck Lojack system. It consists of a Cellphone with GPS. It doesn't even need to be activated. All phones are by law required to work if you dial 911. But you take a car charger and connect it directly to your battery. Then turn the phone on and hide it somewhere.
If your car is stolen the police can use the GPS on the phone to locate it's exact location. Many say it works better than Lojack.
