Wasn't Chilly Willy just a smart part of the Woody the Woodpecker Show?

Not actually. Chilly Willy came about in the mid 50s(I think) and was his own character with his own shorts. The only relation to Woody was that they were both of the same cartoon creators. They were only paired up in around 1960 when they started making the cartoons for TV. They did The Woody Woodpecker Show and Chilly Willy was a feature of the package. I'm a huge fan of old cartoons and know quite a bit about them. Later, QD.

OH! I got ya. I thought the "not always" comment was going towards something else the way it was separated. I see what you're doing now. Later, QD.
