When you get there, the first thing to happen is you will check in with a court secretary. You will be seated and the court solicitors will call each one up individually. They will state the charges and ask how you will plead. This is all before the judge even comes into the room. You'll tell the solicitor how you plead. At that time, she'll either make you an offer(reduced fine for guilty plea or maybe drop it all together if you have a valid story). If you accept the deal, you will be able to take care of that right away and won't have to go through the court procedure. If you stick to not guilty, you'll have to wait your turn in the court. You'll then stand up and tell the judge your plea. She will set a new date and you'll be off on your way until then. Later, QD.Originally Posted by Nemesis
