I call paypal and they say "yeah, looks like somebody has your password"... No shit dumbass! They said it will be 10 business days before I get a refund.. fuckin shit, i'll kill the fucker that did this shit..

Its going to be more than 10 business days, trust me. Paypal takes forever when it comes to things like this.

They handled my problem in 10 days exactly when I requested a refund for something I purchased on Ebay and never recieved...

Anyways- best of luck. Pain in the ass- i had my identity stolen a few weeks ago on my credit card, thankfully my bank took care of it very effectively.

i hope they get it handled quickly. I didnt think to ask if they know how they got my password. I haven't even logged in to paypal in months.

Eli, what did you do? Did you cancel everything? Stop doing online banking/credit card payment?

I think I'm gonna do all that. Scary/angering shit when this happens. Feels about like when your car gets broken into

Are you talking about what did i do when my shit got stolen?

Well honestly- didnt do shit. They did it to me, my mom, and my step-dad and the credit union (we all have credit cards from them) handled it all. Before anything even happened they made our accounts inactive and sent us new cards with new #'s asap.

I online bank, autopay bills with my debit card, etc. I use paypal all the time, etc.

So far- been lucky and when shit screwed up, has been handled well.

There are many emails going around right now that are from wanna be paypal. They have a link on there site to log into and when you do, its actually not paypals site, but indentical to it. If you read the address bar, you can tell that its not paypals site, but how many people do that. Once you enter your username and password. YOUR DUN!
