Nah that's not it at all. I agreed that he didn't maintain control. There was quite a bit of movement before he hit the ground. It was the same as a receiver catching a pass on the edge of the sideline before going out of bounds. If he doesn't establish control of the ball it's ruled an incompletion. I do feel it was a very close call but, I do understand why they ruled as they did. Not to say that I wouldn't have been upset had the play worked in San Fran's favor but, as fans of the game, we see/deal with/endure close calls every week. As a Steeler fan, I was upset that it even came down to a call because our defense should have kept them out of the Red Zone.Quote:
