I actually think this is a pretty good idea in moderation. However, censoring every word that could possibly be perceived as a cuss, I think that's a touch excessive. I know that in reality no cuss word is worse than another, but there's a stigma attached to some of the words that makes people seem to think that they're worse than other. I say, if they wouldn't have played it on the radio 5 years ago [sorry, but radio edits these days are ridiculous] then it shouldn't be visible here. Also, in response to shagwagen's post about enacting punishments against 'bypassing' the censor by using fvck instead of fuck, I personally find that a touch excessive. If you want to censor the actual word, then fine, but fvck, no matter what it LOOKS like, is simply not a word.
Cliffs: the 'baddest of the bad', i.e. shit, fuck, cunt, etc. I think it would be a great benefit to the reputation of the forum to block, however, there's an extremely fine line between cleaning up your image and stifling your members.
