Jaime I believe you are missing the point, I don't think McNabb is whining about his job or his salary.. I'm sure he is as happy as can be BUT what he is simply stating is that black quarterbacks do not get the same respect that other quarterbacks do. And I will say that due to the fact that a lot of black quarterbacks are more athletic than the traditional pocket QB and they use it, people want them to be one thing and when they're not they want to put them at Running Back or Wide Receiver.

The age old stigma was that black QB's are not smart enough to run a team, things have changed in that respect but it still seems like they catch a lot of unfair criticism. This is one of those situations where someone who is black is more likely to understand where he's coming from, I don't expect everyone to get it and I'm really not suprised by the responses here.

As for those who have said Donovan is done, he is sitting on an injury that takes two years to recover from, it hasnt even been a year as of yet.

Mike, I do agree that blacks dominate sports because that is what a lot of them are raised to be.. Rappers or Athletes. I do not meet many black kids (especially in lower class families) say they want to be an Economist or a Physician.. but that has to do with the lack of parenting and direction.
