Long story short my 03 TL tpyeS had to get the tranny replaced under warranty and they gave me an 08 TL typeS with 600 miles on it for a loaner
. I was on 285 right before the 85 split and had to make a hard stop. I then learned the hard way the 4 piston calipers on the 08 typeS stop WAY better than the Ford Taurus behind me. The damage to the acura was not bad, probably just needs a rear bumper. The Taurus was pretty fucked up. Oh the 08 TL was one of the sweetest cars I have driven. I did not want to give it back.
The cop wrote her a ticket for following too close, and states she was at fault. Anyway just thought I would share my story because I have not been on here for a while, and it is probably the most exciting thing that has happened to me in a while.
