    Default Just my luck

    Long story short my 03 TL tpyeS had to get the tranny replaced under warranty and they gave me an 08 TL typeS with 600 miles on it for a loaner . I was on 285 right before the 85 split and had to make a hard stop. I then learned the hard way the 4 piston calipers on the 08 typeS stop WAY better than the Ford Taurus behind me. The damage to the acura was not bad, probably just needs a rear bumper. The Taurus was pretty fucked up. Oh the 08 TL was one of the sweetest cars I have driven. I did not want to give it back.

    The cop wrote her a ticket for following too close, and states she was at fault. Anyway just thought I would share my story because I have not been on here for a while, and it is probably the most exciting thing that has happened to me in a while.

    I had a big smile on my face when I hit the lock button and it beeped. I figured it would have been a normal TL. They are one of the best looking cars on the road in my opinion. I figured it would have folded like a tin can when it got hit but it was rock solid.

    A little extra power (~290 vs. 270), Brembo brakes, an available 6-speed manual and some cosmetic touches. I want to say it has tweaked suspension but I'm not sure.

    Bigger brakes, wheels, I think the suspension is different, I know it has more power and it looks different.

    Yeah that started when I had the mono and my sleep patterns got all fucked up, when I moved out I was never on. Having no internet or cable does suck ass but I do have a 360 and a plasma tv so its not all bad.

    This is my first Honda, I like it but it was not my first choice. I wanted an 02-03 6 speed Maxima but I could not find any. I also got a GREAT deal on the TL.

    i know someone that traded in thier 2004 mustang cobra for an acura TL,not just because im a stang fan,but i thought that was the most stupidest thing ive ever seen..

    i mean it could have been for the gas issues,but still stupid IMO

    As much as I like the new TL and hate Fords I would have to make some changes in my life to pay for the gas because Cobras are fast as shit.

    yea, i wouldn't trade it either.. but then again i'd never have a cobra ;p but if he wanted to save gas and look good.. he made a good choice :p
