The question comes from a thread at another forum that yielded some "interesting" replies. If you were able to dictate how you were going to die, whether it be now or later, how would you like it go? A slow, painless death in your sleep after long-lived existence? A twisted car crash in the mountains? Or is it something more obscure like being taken away by a serial killer?

Anything goes so humor my curiousity.

Can't search for "die" in the thread title as it's too short or common. A search for "death" in the thread title didn't yield anything. The closest match being a question about who sees death and their opinions on it.

It doesn't matter to me. Once I'm gone, it won't matter anyway and any remorse or regret that I would have felt would be discarded into oblivion. Besides, I'm sure that my family is strong enough to get over it.

As for my choice, I don't think I'd like to go painlessly in my sleep. That's so...dull. After all, you only get to experience death once. Why not make the most of it?

Most people would like to be remembered in some fashion. I used to be the same way. I never really feared death, just feared fading away in obscurity. Which is probably what will happen anyway unless I become another Hitler or something.
