Who really cares? Seems like the latinos at work get pretty worked up whenever a black man comes in with a hot white girl or latina but I could really care less. There are very few black women that I find attractive but I'm just more attracted to fair skin tones.

I get shit about it constantly, and I've just learned to ignore it. My mom wasn't too thrilled about me dating him, but she's slowly getting over it. I'll never forget her friend said to me that somewhere in the bible it says "you shouldn't date other races" or some bullshit like that. Well, it the bible it also says that you shouldn't mix fabrics, so your cotton/poly/spandex/silk/whatever clothing all have to be burned, BITCH.
But, I have dated all white guys in the past. One had the self esteem level of a lemming (poor guy) and the other was a fucking narssist who cheated on me. But, now, I've got a mulatto who's just obsessed with his car. I can deal with this.
Ever talked about why your mother didn't like the idea of you dating him? Culture clash is the only big obstacle I see. There are some interracial marraiges in my family...I don't think my family would see anything wrong with it. Same could be said about red-heads...which stinks because I'm a sucker for a red-head.
My mom just said, "Don't marry a girl with 'yellow hair'." Hahaha @ yellow hair. She says that they're a dying breed and she doesn't want me to contribute in watering that gene down any more.

Yeah, it's somewhere in...uh...I'm in a hotel, you'd think I'd find one of the bibles that's always in here. I think it's in Leviticus. If it's not there, it's in one of the first 5 chapters of the bible.
My mother's against it because she was raised in the 50s and 60s where blacks were evil...or something like that. So, as a "good Christian White Girl" she shouldn't mingle with the "evils". So, it's because that's how she was taught. She still wants me to go back to my previous ex, but fuuuuuck that.
