Here are a few definite rules of thumb:
1) If you have a 44 inch hip measurement like Buffie, but your waist is measuring a cool 30+ too, you can pretty much rule out urban glamor modeling.
2) If your preference is to have a hairstyle that is not assimilating with what is being displayed in contemporary website, magazines and video content (i.e. dookie braids, multi-colored hair, fades, cheap wigs, etc), you can rest assured you’re going to have to adjust.
3) If you’ve got gold teeth, missing teeth, excessive gaps in your teeth, frontal tooth decay……need I continue?
4) If you’ve submitted MORE THAN ONCE to every possible publication/website/agency, etc. and not a single one of them has responded to you, that could truly be a sign that you should adhere to.
5) If your stretchmarks (from weight gain, pregnancies, etc) are making the possiblity of rocking a half shirt or swimsuit bottom in public an absolute impossible situation, this could be an assessment/reality check time.
