THe D16 and D17 have nothing that is interchangable. THe Y8 Intake manifold can go on the D17 w/ some modding but thats about it.
There are no aftermarket I/Ms for the D17... they have to be custom fabricated.
W/ P&P head, custom I/M, Pistons, Turbo, cam, etc... i can get that 1.7l 90whp up to about 350whp after about $7000-$10000![]()
Dezod has a EM2 w/ a D17 that Dynoed at 378whp... only about $5000-$7000 invested in that car.
