Penalize him the same way they would anyone else...as for truly being sorry? YEAH RIGHT! He got busted and now is dong everything e can to lessen his punishment and that is probably mostly aimed at his career. These days there is enough publicity out there about dog fighting, tv shows, news broadcasts etc...and for someone in the middle of it, you KNOW he knew full well what the deal was. He is not sorry, just trying to cover his butt now....that is the only reason he is now helping and providing assistance with other cases.

As for wether he should be allowed back into the NFL.....if they have clearly defined rules that cover this ( even in a general range....maybe just concerning crimes being committed ) then those rules should be followed. If they bend the rules it will all be about the money as it so often is with celebrities....and that is why they continue to get away with all kinds of crap.
