Give me a break. Not everyone bashing him are a bunch of jealous idiots. If Nick wrecked and only injured himself people would be like o well there goes another supra, but Nicks passenger is in critical condition. When a driver injures a passenger or another motorist people are less likely to feel sympathy for the driver.
I used that excuse when I was his age, too. I was street racing another car, lost control of my car, spun and took him out, sent him into the guardrail. Smashed up the side of my car pretty good. I said I 'hydroplaned', too. The cop didn't believe me, either. The first thing he said was "Being that it's wet outside and you hydroplaned, you shouldn't have been driving 80mph".
well i think that if he was racing someone those details would have come to light in the intial reports but because some news stations are running it and others arent its mere speculation just like everything else
My point was the "hydroplaning" part is BS, if it's that wet outside then you drive slower. The way that car is fucked up it had to be doing over 80.

Hulk Hogan is breathing a sigh of relief about now.
That's because his teenage son, Nick Bollea, was released on Monday from a hospital in Clearwater, Florida, and is now recovering at home, one day after a car wreck left the 17-year-old seriously injured and another male passenger clinging to his life.
"My son Nick and a friend were involved in a car accident last night. Nick suffered minor injuries and has been treated and released from the hospital. At this time, his friend, John Graziano remains hospitalized," said the pro-wrestling superstar's wife, Linda Hogan, in a statement.
Wayne Shelor, a spokesman for the Clearwater Police Department, said Bollea was behind the wheel of a yellow Toyota Supra and driving at a high rate of speed at approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday when he lost control on a four-lane highway in downtown Clearwater. The car's rear tires jumped a raised median, sending the vehicle spinning into a palm tree.

Local station Tampa Bay News 10 interviewed witnesses who claimed the Hogan Knows Best star was racing a silver Dodge Viper at the time of the crash.
However, Shelor declined to speculate on the cause of the horrific accident, pending the outcome of an investigation. Authorities have also ruled out alcohol as a possible factor. No charges have been filed.
Bollea is best known to tube viewers as Nick Hogan on VH1's popular reality series, Hogan Knows Best, on which he appears with his famous dad, mom Linda, and sister Brooke.
The family said they're praying for a full and speedy recovery for Graziano.
Added Linda Hogan: "Nick is currently at the hospital with John and his family. His sole concern is for the well being of his friend. On behalf of my family, we ask that your thoughts and prayers be with John and his loved ones."

IF he truly was racing a silver Viper and they find the owner, he can face some serious charges as well. Im not sure because I havent researched this whole thing LOL, but how do they know there was a Viper there at all?
Right now it's based on witnesses, so it might not be the complete truth. There could have been a Viper driving down the road by coincidence. However if the Viper laid any rubber the rear tires are so wide it would be hard to refute or mistake for another ordinary car's tracks.
