Get a clutch, don't worry about the tranny, get those slick hott, and launch that bitch at 4 - 4500 rpms. Trust me that bitch would come out of the whole so bad.

I'm not up to par on the newer mustangs but, on the fox bodies and SN95 chassis I always did weld-in subframe braces, and rear upper and lower control arms. Those help out a good bit. Plus the subframes keep from wrinkling and twisting the rear floor pans.
