there used to be an oyster bar right on river street in savannah. dunno if there still is or not, though.
there is an oyster bar in peachtree city near the kroger. if you come into my red lobster and order those damn things ill fucking kill u. theyre nasty as hell, plus i hate waiting for the retards who work in the back to shuck the damn things.

I never didn't enjoy oysters the first time I had them...they felt like loogies.
I had them at some bar on Buckhead Avenue.
yeah first time I had them I held it in my mouth, bad idea, you literally gotta suck them in, its lips to throat - some minced garlic, lime/lemon juice and tabasco help make them a lot more enjoyable

Same here, I thought they tasted like sea water and raw sewage. I quickly became enraged at my server and was thrown out of the resturaunt.

If my memory serves me right, my friends would get them from Publix back in the days. I believe they said not every store carries them though. All you had to do was ask in the meat/seafood department and they'll bring them out from the back if they had them. They are sold by the box.

There's a place on Hwy.41 in Acworth called Oyster King, Oyster Hut, or something like that. Not sure if they're open right now since they just upgraded to a much larger and nicer building.
