It all depends on where you work. no matter who you are, if you've worked in this industry, you've experienced it. Its worse at casual dining restaurants (i.e. Chilis, Fridays, Applebees) because the kids have more access to it, when you move up to more formal dining (Most Italian restaurants, Copelands, Bahama Breeze, etc) then its not as bad. BTW, it is a pretty shitty job. I quit today. I have somethin a whole lot better lined up
I figured as much. Most servers make good enough money they can ignore the shitty tips, but when a server complains about tips you know they hate their job.
