Default Where to cash a personal check?

So i detailed this person's car today, and they gave me a check. The bank is a federal credit union in duluth, but they are already closed and aren't open on weekends.

Is there someplace I can cash this check? Also, I had him make it out to "cash" so maybe that makes things easier?

    1.) get bank account

2.) get check made out to your name

3.) leave check in night drop of your bank.

If you don't have a bank account you are missing out. Check cashing places take anywhere from 1% to 3% of your money as well.
