    Dude the EXACT same thing happened on my dad's 2000 impala... There was/is a recall out on the cat in that car (3.8 v6) because of some issue about the header to cat coupler is plastic, and it melts (durr), and causes some sort of reverse suction to occur, which will suck anything in the cat up the header... generally it incinerates in the high heat of the header before doing any damage, but on some of them, my dad's car included, a chunk of carbon and metal mesh made it all the way up and ate the shit out of the head. Luckily it was a warranty/recall issue, so it was fixed free... but that sucks that it happened to your vette!

    Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.
