Why not? The new Si is already available in a sedan. The Neon SRT-4 and Sentra SE-R Spec-V are both sedans. Hell, the Mazdaspeed 3 is a d@mn station wagon as is the new STi. All of these companies are blending practicallity with performance to appeal to a larger audience. The younger crowds get the performance they want and the older crowds get the practicallity they need without having to settle for a boring soccer-shuttle.

Hey! I have one of these, and mine didn't come with any of this "performance" you speak of.

I had one too and that car can be fun as all hell if you do the right things to it. Motor mounts, suspension, and smaller wheels make that car a lot of fun on the track. Hell, the new Spec V outperformed the Cooper S on a track comparison.

That's because it was tested on the Nurenburger or however you spell that damn track. Nissan is giving out free DVDs, which I got.
