    Fuck apartments....Buy a house. But if you insist on renting, I have a townhome for rent.....$1150 though.

    Got damn. I wish I could right now. I'm trying to stay under 700 cuz I'm expecting. Maybe later though if it's still available!

    Seriously though, don't throw your money away if you can help it on renting an apartment.....These days, it is so easy to qualify for a home loan.....You could get a smaller home or townhouse for a little over what your budget is for an apartment....and you'd be gaining so much owning a home as oppossed to renting an apartment....Good luck either way.

    True, but a home is much more permanent than an apartment. Not everyone is quite ready to take that step.

    +1 and nowadays most lenders have no fee mortgages which in turns means no closing costs when you buy a home, and then if you are a first time home buyer there are so many products out there to make the transition well worth it. i know you said you credit is fucked but have you checked your score lately?

    really ^? i thought you moved away you back here in GA? some ok apartments for cheap in L'ville is Holland Park; staff sucks minus manager of the complex.
