Maxxis if anyone should have some pull on wheel manufacturers.

get sportmax as a wheel sponsor.. they make nice wheels and arent chrome.

It's a hybrid of the LS1 and LS6 -- only arguement you can really have is in stock form it has high compression for a V8 of its size and might not the best for boosting. I'm sure the LS2 would be (re)built to match Dan's needs so not like it would really matter what stock form is. Change the cam's, a little intake work, plus fuel work and you should be able to get 500hp out of it

Then as you know with Erin's, the wingless vs. winged oil pans -- gotta have that baffled 'vette oil pan, holds a quart less oil but keeps it where it should be

Tracy, I must say that the opposing concave pattern on the front of THE RENS rendition looks pretty intimidating. The Hankook Styling is cool IMO as long as white is absent and there's a plethora of colors to accent the swirls. Sweet idea for getting a design.

Ok, so let me say this. I love the idea. I'm not so much looking for a paint scheme as I am looking for a vinyl design. Not the sponsor stuff, leave that out. I will add that. I mean I want to know the color the sponsor stickers will be so you can play with that, just don't worry about the placement. I'm looking for a vinyl design like the ones I posted...or like what my Evo had with the flames and the Hello Kitty. More like a THEME.



With the paint scheme, it needs to be simple because we crash a lot. So like the pin stripe is gorgeous, but if you think that I crash up my bumper every event almost...it's not so fun for my painter and it's expensive and more time consuming.

That's what I was gonna say, i assumed that's why you rock the plain black bumpers now...it's a whole lot easier and cheaper to spray black than match the orange everytime

Then you if start adding anything other than sponsor decals it gets expensive and time consuming to print and lay vinyl every time, hence my basic paint scheme with virtually no graphics. But now that i know you do what some sort of detail i'll see what i can come up with.

My favorite is the 1984 635CSi Group A & Group 5 car that has the cutaway vinyl on it...you can see the engine, suspension, seats, etc...

yeah... it's kinda boring looking, but it's a lot cleaner than his old Sears graphics. But the 5.6L v8 kinda takes your attention away from the bland paint job

i made it before you posted the "leave the sponsors off" part. Just imagine they're not there .

seriously it's not that hard to just trace the main design in illustrator then throw it on the plotter.

i'm gonna bet a tire sponsor will be putting a WHOLE lot more money into a sponsorship than a wheel manufacturer...wheels aren't exactly disposable therefore get used throughout the season
