what you guys seem to not understand is that the whole situation could have been very easily avoided if the lady would have never gotten into the driver seat while intoxicated. regardless of wethere she was there when she got drunk or drove there she was in the driver seat. and on top of that to resist arrest. yes it seemed to have been exessive force but if the officer felt like he was in any danger or any body else was in danger then he did what he thought at the moment to be right.. she did try to drive of which could have endagered other people..
