Default Do people still collect baseball cards?

Do they? I just ran across a SHIT LOAD of baseball, football, and basketball cards. Along with a ton of comic books and comic cards.

Brings back good memories of no bills and worries and just tearing open a new pack of cards and seeing what you got.

They're not worth shit right now. Seriously. I just got rid of about 5-600 baseball/football/basketball(the newest of any was 1984) and got only about $60 for everything. I did a lot of research, online and off, and the market is hugely down on them as far as value. They massed produced cards in the thousands and thousands back in the 70s and 80s and so there isn't anywhere you can't go and see tons of them. Plus with all the other goings on, the market for collecting has just shrunk immensely. Later, QD.

so pretty much your saying pre 70's cards are going to be the cards to sell. hold on to the 70's+ cards for another 50 years give them to your grand kids and make them some $$$

^^^ Lolol. I spose so. Even probably 90% of the pre-70s cards won't be worth more than $.50-.60. They're just simply not in demand these days. If you don't need the money and you have the space, keep them. I had a Nolan Ryan rookie that isn't worth $7.50 right now, mint. Lolol. Later, QD.

I was told about 5 years ago, Barry was worth about $20. It went straight down from there. I learned a lot. I had those cards, too. All kind of rookies. Later, QD.

Just depends on who they are. There are a LOT of cards that you would think was worth an assload of money that aren't worth $5-10. Later, QD.
