    Driver Doing 'Doughnuts' In Parking Lot Dies
    SUV On CSU Lot Flips

    POSTED: 10:50 am EDT July 20, 2007

    FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A driver doing "doughnuts" in a parking lot near the Colorado State University campus was killed Wednesday night when his vehicle flipped and crashed.

    The incident occurred at about 8 p.m. in the parking lot of CSU's Engines and Energy Conversion Laboratory.

    A witness told the Fort Collins Coloradan that the driver pulled into the parking lot and then gunned the accelerator.

    The driver was thrown from behind the wheel to the passenger side and then out the window, witnesses said. The vehicle flipped and partially rolled over the victim, a CSU spokesman said.

    Three other people in the Ford Explorer were not hurt.

    All of the occupants were in their late teens or early 20s. The victim has not been identified. Police are investigating whether drugs or alcohol played a role.

    actually all suv's are easy to tip over it just happen to be that the tires they used on ford explorers were designed poorly, but i agree a dumbass and Darwin's theory at its finest

    I wonder whose IDEA it was to do donuts in the parking lot. Probably one of his friends that were in the car. And look what the donut came to.
    It sucks even more if he was still a virgin.

    But I do kinda feel bad.

    so if i am reading this right, he was not wearing his seat belt and tried to do a donut. the g force pulled him to the passenger side, he then proceded to fly out the window, then have the truck roll on him. wow. how fucking stupid can you get? carlos mencia was talking about him... all those shows, there is your dee dee deee

    Actually that is not completely tue. Car and Driver did a test when all the firstone shit happened where they had a machine that imitated a tire blowing out and the editors were able to control the explorers as speeds up to 95 mph. the concensus was that people panicked when the tires blew and handled the car poorly causing it to flip. Not neccesarily the tires..
