... and I notice some flashing lights ahead and a car stopped still on the other side of the road. As I drove up to the 2 cars I notice someone walking in the middle of the street and traffic cones in the middle of the rode as well. When I got close I read on the back of the guys outfit that said police on it and one of the cones said "Police Safety Check". Also I noticed there was about 5-6 cop cars at Oak Grove Road and 20/Loganville Hwy (where all of this was going on). When I drove up to the cop in the middle of the road he told me to stop and I did. He ask me where I was coming from and ask for my license. I told him I was coming from a friends house and gave him the license. He then asked me if I had been drinking and I said no and then asked me if I had any drugs on me and I said no again. Then he asked me if I had dead bodies in my trunk... yes that's right, dead bodies in my trunk. For some reason I laughed and said no at the same time for some odd reason. The cop must had some suspicion I guess when I laughed at his question and walked to the back of my car, but I assume he just was checking my license plate. As the cop walks back to the front of the car he tells me that the next time I drive through that area I should have been drinking, have drugs on me or dead bodies in my truck or both so he had something to do instead of standing on the middle of the road at 2:43 in the morning doing safety checks. I asked him what was going on and he told me he wasn't allowed to say anything, but I looked around and all I saw was just the cop cars so who knows what happened that they had to do safety checks so late at night/early morning. Quite interesting to say the least.
