you do know you have to PAY to use the beach up there. that kinda sucks. Also there are tolls everywhere you go. Houses and properties are more expensive up there. So...it isn't all that much better.

I agree with ya, I went up to the northeast this winter and fell in love.. New York is a bit fast for me but all the gripes you have about the south I see it 110% and I feel the same way. Think you can deal with actual snow in the winter???

Mark, you probably didn't know I am from N.Y. also. I left when I was 13. Racists are not just in Georgia. If you know people that have lived in N.Y. all there life they will tell you racism is not extinct. The difference between N.Y. and Georgia with racism is the most people up there will not stare into your face, but will ignore you and keep to themselves. Down here racists do the same but they are a little more bolder kinda indirectly.

I feel ya up north there are still people who are racist but its wierd tho because they are still cooler than the racist down here(very weird thought i know lol). I guess because in bigger cities like Nyc and Chicago its more common for the things that are so called "different" down here because i go up north at least 5 times a years to see my girlfriends family and chicago and upstate new york and we def. don't get the stares like we do down here from both white and blacks. seeing that i'm black and my g/f is white.
